What does Embark on Art: Paris look like?

Welcome to your 3.5 day your of Paris, France and Giverny!

Each day we will have several excursions as if we are geniunely touring the city. Excursions will be any combination of photos, video clips, talks and story telling that help encapsulate the experience.

And with most excursions comes an art activity. Activities may include: creative prompts, demonstrations, studying techniques or styles, and more. These will be pre-recorded and offer you choice according to your interests and accommodate different skill levels.

At the end of our travel time, you will walk away with a group of artworks and artistic explorations that reflect your time in the city.

Make the most of your experience

While you have immediate access to the entire itinerary, I really encourage you to break it down into smaller steps for you to savor and ENJOY this process. It's not a race to the finish line - it's about slowing down, and getting into the materials. If you want to take a few days to go through all of Day 1, go for it! Allow your enthusiasm, curiosity, and playfulness to drive your experience. This is meant to be FUN :)

We have a "ship" we all share called Embark on Art. It's our community space where fellow explorers can post their art, ask for feedback, encouragement, and generally celebrate showing up and sharing their art!

We have some basic rules to keep all explorers safe, which include how we behave on the ship (our community space):

• Only offer constructive feedback when someone specifically asks for it
• For every post sharing your art, be sure to comment on at least one other person's post
• We welcome vulnerability - it's ok to be new at something, to feel uncomfortable, to feel discouraged, to ask for support.
• No tech troubleshooting inside the community. Email [email protected] if you're having trouble accessing something inside our Embark on Art adventure.
• No politics
• No negativity
• Artwork, imagery, or comments that support or encourage any kind of harm, violence or hate against groups of people will be deleted and people will be removed from our community (even if they have paid for programming).
